Arrival of Marianne Khoury and Gala of the Festival Vues d’Afrique
On April 17th, Mrs. Marianne Khoury, producer and director of Misr International Films arrived to Montreal in order to participate in the Festival Vues d’Afrique. She attended all four other presentations of Youssef Chahine’s films and answered questions of the public at the end of each screening.
As well, on the evening of April 17th, Dr. El Tanbouly, Consul of Cultural and Educational Affairs, Dr. Sherif Khashana and Mrs. Khoury attended the opening Gala of the Festival Vues d’Afrique where H.E. Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, acted as President of Honor for this 25th edition of the Festival.
