Teleconference meeting between Alexandria
University, Carleton University
On Tuesday, 12th 2009,
the Bureau of Cultural & Educational Affaires in Montréal - Canada
organized a Teleconference meeting between Alexandria University, Carleton
University. The objective of the conference was discussing the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) for jointly supervised academic programs between the
Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt and the University of Carleton in Ottawa -
Canada, signed on June 2008.

They concluded
the following:
1.In the undergraduate degrees in the fields
of communication engineering and electrical engineering (electronics), the
student spends 3 years in Alexandria University and 2 years in Carleton
University and will have the degree from Carleton University after the
assessment of the courses by Carleton University. Actually the courses of
Alexandria University in both fields are being evaluated by a committee from
Carleton University.
2.In the graduate degrees in the field
of civil & construction engineering;
Creation of a jointly
supervised academic program in which the student spends 2 years in University of
Alexandria and two years in Carleton University and will have the degree from
Carleton University.
