Official visit to the University of Ottawa
On the 28th of April 2009, Prof. Dr. Nebal El Tanbouly, Consul, Egyptian Cultural & Educational Affaires, Dr. Amany Fouad, Cultural Attaché and Dr. Sherif Khashana, Scientific coordinator, held an official visit to University of Ottawa, and met with:
1. Dr. Gilles Breton, Associate Vice – President Academic (International)
2. Mrs. Mary Kane, International Office
The meeting aimed to discuss the following issues:
1. Waving differential tuition fees for Egyptian students.
2. Jointly degree program post graduate studies.
3. Student exchange protocol (Marc Polo Convention) between University of Ottawa, Faculty of Arts,
Department of Modern Languages and Literature, and University of Alexandria, Faculty of Arts,
Center for Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL)
