Video conference meeting.
A video conference meeting has been held on Tuesday December 1st, 2009 at the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau Office- Montreal, Canada. The meeting was organized between Western Ontario University represented by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Aldamaty - the director of Civil Engineering Department and the Egyptian Cultural, Educational Bureau represented by Prof. Nebal Altanbouly and Mr. Mostafa Shekib, and the faculty of Engineering- Alexandria University represented by Prof. Dr. Laila Alhefnawi - professor of Civil Engineering and Prof. Dr. Ibtehal Albastaweesy- the deputy of the Faculty of Engineering.
The meeting has discussed the project that Prof. Dr. Ashraf Aldamaty has presented a project about “Recycling the Residuals of Rice Hay in Egypt” which he wishes to implement in Egypt in collaboration with Egyptian businessmen. The meeting also discussed the arrangements needed for Dr. Ashraf’s visit to Alexandria University at the period from December 4th to December 16th, 2009 to give a number of lectures in addition to a meeting with the Egyptian businessmen at the Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria in order to start the first steps of implementing his project.
